Biographies of Kate, Philip and the Gould Family

Kate Lawson-Gould

Kate Lawson-GouldBorn and raised around the British Isles with her nomadic, theatrical parents, Kate completed her education at Bristol University, earning an honours degree in Music and Drama. She also completed a postgraduate year of advanced singing and piano at the London College of Music.

Kate has travelled extensively throughout Europe - beginning as a dancer in Portugal before embarking on a varied career in theatre. Known as a “triple threat” (a brilliant singer, actor and dancer) her career has included roles on the West End of London and Internationally in such performances as Oklahoma, Buddy, Dames at Sea and Ten Little Indians.  She also spent nine months in Tel Aviv, working as an opera singer with the New Israeli Opera, under the baton of such conductors as Zubin Mehta.

Kate still performs occasionally, but now more ardently pursues her other passions - teaching, directing, writing and of course, ‘being a mum’.

A lifelong student of spiritual and universal laws, Kate believes in the practical application of new inspiration and has always lived this philosophy.
